Housing. A place where it is elderly friendly. Elderly will be able to live as part of the community.
Accessibility. The building will have accessible lifts and walkways, they will also have transport right at their doorstep.
Caring. We need to ensure that the elderly health is in good condition by doing checkups regularly.
Opportunities. The elderly will be given opportunities to participate in activities. Their relationship with their family will increase.

They will build accessible lifts and a transport system right at their doorstep.

Trained FP's will provide necessary care for patients within their home.
The government will partner the private and people sector to ensure sibsidised service are relevant.

We could go to these houses/centres and have a nice chat with them to build up friendly relationships with them.
We could help them organize activities for the elderly.
We can contribute our knowledge and try to help the government come out with a solution to help these elderly with their funding.
Can we be better at helping the elderly?
We can actually make more projects that help the elderly as many campains nowadays only concentrate on the younger generation.
How can we bring simple technology into the lives of the elderly so that they will learn new skills and maybe connect with their family through the internet?

With the elderly always staying at home and sometimes hooked on the television, they have to let them see the other side of technology so that they will also be exposed to the internet and stuff like Facebook and Skype.

With these basic skills on the fingertips of the elderly, it will be really easier for them to communicate with friends and their loved ones in the country or maybe out of the country so that they can stay connected and stay up to date with the news and happenings in the world.
Are the elderly happy?
The elderly are not happy with some of the facilities

1) Housing for seniors, accessibility for seniors, caring for seniors, eldercare opportunities for seniors
2) One of them is that the Government should consider specific measures to facilitate the development of retirement housing by the private sector, in particular, varying the length of land leases to lower land costs, to cater to seniors.
3) Trained people can train volunteers for free and those experienced volunteers can encourage their friends and family and they could help to train them as well, increasing the population of people who can care for the elderly at home. Government could step in and pay half of the elderly’s medical bills.
4) I believe we should go to the old folks home or the elderly care centre to accompany and to entertain them. We should encourage our family and friends to talk to their grandparents more often so that they would not feel left out.
